Good Spirit and Twin Valley Presbyteries who shared
proceeds ($11,000 and $10,000 respectively) from the sale of
Camp McKay with Calling Lakes Centre. Because Camp McKay was
mainly concerned with being a place of community and
spiritual discovery for children and youth, we are delighted
to have these gifts to help us in similar program work. |
 |
Western Litho Printers Ltd of Regina who printed our
program calendar in color at no extra charge! Our new
"Programs at a Glance" centrefold pulls out for ease of
posting or inclusion in your daytimer. Need an extra copy of
the centrefold? Check the home page of our website for a
printable pdf. |

The many who love Sophie and Nellie, our
feline greeters and hunters; especially Ron and Lana
Brandow who donated veterinary services for "shots" and
Nellie’s "bobtailing" (necessary after a tail injury --
finally a way to tell mother & daughter apart!); Kate
Hersberger and Lorraine Bonville who donated
money for surgical supplies and cat food. |
 |
Monica Fraske-Bornyk
for the drum. |
 |
The many who have brought garden produce and
books. |
 |
Holly Schick for
planning and organizing our YARD SALE; Daisy
Cheers and Kelsey Wilde for helping with setup,
selling and carrying away; all those who donated items. It
was great to visit with friends and neighbours outside in
the sunshine. We also gave some tours and got some bookings.
We made several hundred dollars and cleared out space in our
"glory hole" [basement storage room]. The leftovers were
passed on to the Qu’Appelle Valley Friendship Centre.
