Calling Lakes Centre was the
recipient of two very special gifts during 2006. We are grateful
for the vision and generosity of these benefactors.
Through
Saskatchewan Conference, the Centre received a bequest from
faithful United Church member, Joe McClughan, who
stipulated that he wanted the money to be used to make a
difference. The $10,000 bequest was divided between our Sacred
Space Fund and operations.
We also received a $10,000 bequest from the family of
Orace Elliott, a long time member of the UCW. We are using
$5000 to help with the costs of developing our new Ministry with Youth
Certificate program.
We hope that when you are considering your legacy for the
future that you will consider a special gift for Calling Lakes.
Such gifts invariably enable the Centre to make a part of its
vision come into reality.
