Chatauqua at
First United Church,
Swift Current ...a chinook for the Spirit
On March 2nd,
people from the Swift Current area had a marvelous time at the
Calling Lakes Chatauqua. The evening began with a superb roast
beef dinner served by women of the church. After browsing
through the display from the Calling Lakes book store, folks
adjourned to the sanctuary for a lively program. We are very
grateful to the following people who shared their talents:
Christine Ciona, Colin King, Heather Macnab &
music students, James McLauchlan, John Barker,
Terry Bailey and members of First United’s Choral
Ensemble and Gospel Jam Group.

might be able to help out the Centre by hosting a Chatauqua have
a chat with Linda Anderson. She will outline how local
arrangements, inviting talent and advertising are carried out in
partnership with Calling Lakes.
