Cookies, Bars & Candy

FUDGE 
Mildred Wotherspoon, Melville, SK

1 cup sugar 2 tsp cocoa
1 cup brown sugar Pinch of salt
cup corn syrup 1 tsp vanilla
cup milk Nuts if desired
cup margarine
Using a heavy saucepan, put all ingredients except vanilla over a medium heat, stirring until sugars are dissolved and mixture begins to boil. Boil to firm ball stage, 8-10 minutes. Beat by hand until thick. Spread in 8" square pan
