Cookies, Bars & Candy

WHIPPED SHORTBREAD
Lilla Gibson, La Ronge UCW, La Ronge, SK

1 lb. butter 1 tsp vanilla
1 cup icing sugar Pinch salt
cup cornstarch 3 cups flour
Beat all ingredients until it looks like whipped cream. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Red or green cherries may be added on top of each before baking. Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes.
