APPLE STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
L. Gail Tyson, Harris SK

2 1/4 cups flour 1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup sour milk
3/4 cup margarine 1 can apple pie filling (or any variety)
1/2 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 t . baking soda
Combine flour and sugar. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Set aside 1/2 cup. To remainder, add baking powder and baking soda. Combine egg and sour milk and add to dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Spread 2/3 of the batter over bottom and part way up the side of greased 9 inch springform pan. Combine pie filling and raisins (if using) and spoon over batter. Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter over filling. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
