MEAT PIE 
Ethel McDonald, Kirkfield Park United Church

Pastry for 2 crust 9" pie Chopped onion and pepper
1 lb. ground beef Seasoning such as dried parsley, onion or pepper
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
Brown meat quickly and pour off excess fat. Add soup and seasoning and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Fill pie shell and cover with top crust. Bake at 400( for ten minutes, then reduce heat to 375( then bake for approximately 25 more minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve with tossed salad and relish. I make them in different sizes and freeze them unbaked.
