Main Dishes

CORN CHOWDER SOUP 
Glad Heart UCW, Gull Lake SK.

10-12 slices bacon, chopped and fried crisp Water as needed
1 Tbsp bacon fat 2 cups cream corn
1 medium onion, chopped 2 cups mushroom soup
2 cups diced potatoes 2 soup cans water
Salt and pepper
Add chopped onion to bacon fat and cook slowly until tender. Add potatoes, cover with water, and simmer until tender. Add remaining ingredients, simmer and serve. This is a favourite at our Annual Valentine Luncheon.
