Salads and Side Dishes

ORIENTAL SALAD 
Eleanor McClinton, Yellowgrass

1 extra large cabbage 2 pkg. Ichiban noodles crushed 
2 celery stalks 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 bunch green onions 1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup oil
Chop cabbage, celery and onions small. Set aside. Combine oil, noodles, sunflower seeds and almonds and brown in 300 degree oven. Stir often, cool.
Dressing:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp soy sauce 1/2 cup vinegar
Seasoning packets from noodles Mix together, boil 1 minute, cool. Before serving, mix all ingredients together. Keeps well.
